Meet Roberta Milam, owner of The Yellow Canary! Downtown has been her work home for the past 8 years and she has had a front row seat to the growth and development that has taken place.
The Yellow Canary provides Jackson with the best place to find that special baby gift for a friend, a child's birthday happy or the perfect outfit for your little one, but now it also acts as a space for providing experiences for parents and guardians to enjoy with their children.

Meet Stephanie Graham, Public Information Officer + Community Advisor for the Jackson Police Department! Thank you, Stephanie, for all you do in our community and how you champion our Downtown businesses.
"My job duties involve connecting with citizens and business owners in and around the City of Jackson. It's important to me that I frequent and patronize our downtown area and businesses, it's essential for the success of their business," Stephanie said.
DON MCCORRY
Don McCorry is the Executive Director of the Jackson Madison County African American Chamber of Commerce. Thank you, Don, for all you do in our community!
"My role in this non-profit organization is to promote the growth and development of our member businesses, introduce the concept of entrepreneurship to our inner-city youth and expand economic development throughout Jackson and West TN," Don said. "As a native of Jackson, I am passionate about how this city has grown to encompass all of its citizens, and I want equitable representation in a place we all love and care about."
ASHLEY KATE ADAMS
Meet Ashley Kate Adams, she is involved downtown through her work with No Reverse Records and Vintage Makers Festival and she is also a professor of Music & Entertainment at University of Memphis at Lambuth. Thank you for encouraging and supporting so many businesses and people in downtown Jackson, Ashley Kate!
“Whether I’m coordinating a show at Hub City or the Civic Center, producing a session at Jaxon Records or operating the No Reverse Records arm of the Vintage Makers Festival, I am actively attempting to create opportunities for artists to flourish professionally and have a consistent musical home here in West Tennessee,” Ashley Kate said.
DAVID MCCALL
David McCall is the Executive Director of The Ned and oversees the planning and implementation of programming at The Ned and is a supporters of all the things happening in Downtown Jackson. Thank you, David, for everything you've helped bring to our city.
"I'm most excited about seeing how the arts continue to shape our Downtown," David said. "The City of Jackson and Our Jackson Home are adding visual appeal to our streets, making our Downtown even more inviting to visitors. I'm hoping for more partnerships between arts organizations and businesses."

Mark Hudgens is the owner of Dixie Castle! Dixie Castle has been located downtown since 1930 and has been a staple in many people’s lives for years. Thank you, Mark, for being a steady face in our Downtown community!
